By far largest group dates from service as NCTA administrator, concerns highways and public transportation in the National Capital area and the establishment of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA); Three Sisters Bridge; proposed I-266; plans for Washington subway system (Metro). Metro 2001 group concerns work on Metro History Project; also 3 "Metro History Monographs" by Fairweather and Elizabeth Durham. IST group relates to research on the history of highway projects of the NCTA and other federal agencies and includes report by Booth Mooney on the Metro system.
